Chapter XII

The next night, Eric comes in the dormitory and wakes everybody up. He tells everybody to get up and get ready. They are going to play a game. I am not a morning person, let alone being woken up in the middle of the night and forced to get up and do stuff. The initiation leaders pick their teams and they are off! The moon must have been bright to provide enough light that people weren't running into trees or tripping over tree roots. In order to make the job easier, teams would shoot opposing teams with paintball guns. If you were shot, you were out of the game. This sounds like a lot of fun. I wish I could participate in this game.

"You're already the hero of the day. And you know you can't reach it anyways."

In the end, Christina grabs the flag and sprints for the win.
